There will be an abrupt wind shift from the west to the
east/northeast today as high pressure builds over the waters through
Wednesday before moving east on Thursday. Strong frontal passage
late Thursday and Friday will bring rain and gale force winds to the
waters. Unsettled conditions through the weekend with periods of
rain and dry conditions.

National Marine Sanctuary:
.TODAY...N winds 5 to 10 kt, becoming NE this afternoon. Seas
2 to 4 ft.
.TONIGHT...SE winds around 10 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft.
.WED...SE winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt. Seas 2 to
3 ft. Scattered showers in the afternoon.
.WED NIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt. Seas
3 to 4 ft. A chance of showers.
.THU...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Gusts up to 20 kt in the morning.
