.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...
A weak south to southwesterly flow will persist through this morning before shifting west to northwesterly as a dryline pushes into the coastal waters this afternoon.
Areas of fog have developed this morning along the coast and will likely continue until the dryline pushes through, a Marine Weather Statement is in effect through noon today across the bays and nearshore waters.
Winds will remain rather weak until a cold front pushes through overnight tonight, with strong to very strong northerly winds developing in its wake.
A Small Craft Advisory is in effect from 3 AM to 6 PM Saturday for all waters, an extension may be necessary for the open waters.
Moderate to strong offshore flow Saturday night will transition to weak to moderate northeast flow Sunday, then generally weak onshore flow Monday and Tuesday,
as surface high pressure moves eastward across the northern Gulf of Mexico and over the southeastern United States.
