 .SYNOPSIS FOR THE COASTAL WATERS FROM SANDY HOOK NJ TO FENWICK
ISLAND DE AND FOR DELAWARE BAY...
Cool and dry high pressure will build into the area through
tonight then shift offshore on Friday. A coastal system will
impact the region beginning Friday night through Saturday with
areas of heavy rain and breezy conditions. As the system departs
by Sunday, dry high pressure will settle in from the northeast
into early next week. Another system may impact the region into
the middle of next week.

NW winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt. Seas 3 to
5 ft. NW swell 2 to 5 ft at 4 seconds.
 
TONIGHT
NW winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt, becoming
N 5 to 10 kt after midnight. Seas 2 to 3 ft. NW swell 2 to 3 ft
at 3 seconds.
 
FRI
NE winds 5 to 10 kt, becoming SE in the afternoon. Seas
around 2 ft. N swell around 2 ft at 3 seconds in the morning,
becoming light.
 
FRI NIGHT
SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Gusts up to 25 kt after
midnight. Seas 2 to 4 ft. SE swell 2 to 4 ft at 3 seconds. A
chance of rain in the evening, then rain after midnight.

SE winds 20 to 25 kt with gusts up to 40 kt. Seas 4 to
6 ft, building to 6 to 9 ft in the afternoon. SE swell 4 to 9 ft

midnight. Seas 8 to 11 ft. SE swell 6 to 10 ft at 9 seconds,
